Key Area of Responsibilities
•    Project management for the development of all installation, re-sites and removals of the company’s digital advertising product portfolio across SA
•    Key point of contact for Development teams across SA ensuring that the all requests are processed and delivered on time and that expectations are exceeded.
•    Liaise with Local management to plan and allocate appropriate resource to meet business needs.
•    Manage and Review H&S for team members and contractors.
•    Performance – Continually measure, review and set realistic Objectives.
•    Quality – Regular audits in every market where digital is based.
•    Documentation – Continually evolve maintenance manuals with new products.
•    Liaise with maintenance department to ensure operational standards are met.

Digital Duties
•    Prepare and plan digital installations with Projects team for SA
•    Manage digital installations across SA 
•    Monitoring of the digital assets and timeous attendance to repair and/or resolution of faults 
•    Provide guidance and Remote management working with Regional Operations Managers for the Digital service Team.
•    Point of contact for all stakeholders engaged with Delivering Digital Assets.
•    Develop existing and create new relationships with contractors offering innovative Digital Solutions.
•    Continued communication with Corp, Sales and Technical to ensure Digital Assets are the best in class taking into account the capex and opex. 
•    Consolidating and standardizing the existing digital maintenance processes and associated       administration systems from a planned and reactive perspective
•    Implement complete range of documentation for planned and reactive works, ensuring that continually reviewed and amended with version controls.
•    Implement training documentation for all activities and ensure continually reviewed.
•    Involvement at Design Stage for all new Digital Projects.  Taking the lead with component selection.
•    Regular reviewing performance to ensure agreed SLAs are met.
•    Responsible for creating and reviewing all processes and procedures relating to digital maintenance
•    Responsible for keeping up to date any associated documentation 
•    Defining and managing quality audit processes from a maintenance perspective
•    Producing performance reports for all areas of responsibility and updating all Stakeholders
•    Manage departmental expenditure in line with forecast
•    Support the evaluation of new digital innovations from both a maintenance and commercial standpoint
•    Ensuring that the Company’s construction, quality and health & safety standards are being implemented and complied with on all sites.
•    To prepare and plan works packages and communicate effectively with internal teams and sub-contractors to ensure that company’s quality and standards are maintained.
•    Effective liaison with stores department to ensure Bills of Materials are booked out and delivered  on time for all installation and refurbish builds
•    Managing construction phases to ensure projected in-charge date is met.
•    Ensure that all sub-contractors are regularly inspected and audited for compliance to meet the company policies and to ensure best value is delivered at all times.
•    Contractor monitoring against the installation specification and also H&S procedures.
•    Together with the Group H&S Manager produce and action risk assessments, hazard reports and safe working method statements.
•    To undertake accident investigations and adhering to the reporting procedures as per the H&S policy
•    Ensure contractor H&S resources meet Company, project and legislative requirements, along with carrying out regular inspections of contractor performance in the field.
•    Ensure all operational practices comply with current health & safety regulations and provide constant monitoring.
•    To conduct regular compliance audits on install/repair teams ensuring that the companies standards for quality and H&S

Electrical Duties
•    Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research on company requirements towards Illumination of assets and on digital assets.
•    Program illumination repairs according to urgency and budgetary requirements
•    Resolve major illumination faults with landlord and/or councils
•    Program and manage the RCD testing on all illuminated sites as well as the fitment of earth-leakage breakers
•    Compile reports from illumination inspections
•    Monitor performance of illumination, track and ensure improvement thereof
•    Achieves electrical maintenance operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
•    Train and supervise technicians to assist in new installation and maintenance of all Illuminated sites
•    Meets electrical maintenance financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
•    Provides electrical power by maintaining electrical equipment and outlets; including energy management system for lighting, security gates, security console, and mail conveyor system.
•    Provides lighting by maintaining electrical lighting fixtures.
•    Provides engineering support by responding to requests for mechanical and electrical problems.
•    Complies with codes by adhering to requirements; advising senior management on needed actions.
•    Maintains supplies inventory by checking electrical material stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for electrical material; reviewing and approving invoices;
•    Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
•    Updates mechanical engineering job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
•    Enhances facilities services and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Minimum requirements
•    BTech/ BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering required or Electronics Degree
•    5+ years’ electrical engineering experience (building services) or in electronics. Experience in digital electrical systems advantageous 
•    Strong understanding of electrical engineering designs and drawings and required standards to be followed in SA when doing new Installations
•    Able to problem solve and troubleshoot as the need arises
•    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
•    Capacity to analyze a problem from multiple perspectives and explore creative solutions
•    High attention to detail with a desire for excellence
•    Valid SA drivers licence 
•    Experience in the layout of SA urban areas and the culture of its people 
•    Computer literate, MS Office, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook
