Minimum requirements
  • Diploma in Logistics/ Supply Chain
  • 5 year’s managerial experience of more than 10 staff
  • Must have managed subcontractors previously
  • Must have a Valid Drivers Licence
  • Must have experience in report writing
  • Must have excellent skills in Excel and MS Office

Key Tasks And  Responsibilities
Client Service
  • Building strong relationships with client services team, ensuring their needs are identified and feedback on successful completion.
  • Conducting product review and analysis to generate leads and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Act as a main point of contact for the flighting department within the RSA.
  • Carry out regular bi-monthly performance reports to ensure all client SLA’s are being completed to the agreed timelines and quality expected.
  • Ensure that all major client’s site bibles are completed & submitted on time after cycle or when requested.

Sub-Contractor Management, People Management and Development
  • Ensure that all flighting sub-contractors deliver as per the SLAs with JCDecaux.
  • Work closely with billboard maintenance supervisor, helpdesk coordinator and the development team.
  • Leading and training with continuous communications of the flighting teams and subcontractors to ensure guidance and new procedures are distributed.
  • Sharing knowledge across all departments of new procedures and special tasks requested.
  • Work closely with all the flighting coordinators to ensure all booked campaigns are flighted as per the bookings

  • Resolve technical and mechanical issues by coming up with innovative ways of changing components where required.
  • Continuous lookout of new flighting methods or coming up with new flighting process that can improve performance.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and in-house billboards supervisor to ensure that all reported maintenance that affect flighting is resolved.

  • To work within budget guidelines and encourage new ways of efficient spending to reduce costs.

Health and Safety
  • Work to agreed SLA’s and defined quality standards.
  • Work within the safe systems of work.
  • Work within Health & Safety guidelines ensuring that accidents, hazards and near misses are reported immediately.
  • Ensure all operational practices comply with the current Health & Safety regulations.
  • Comfortable with high level working – working at height within safety guidelines.
  • Ensure that all sub-contractors use correct PPE all the time.

  • Chase any late flighting and any reposts required with the relevant departments.
  • Ensure that all issues related to flighting are resolved and where necessary to go to site
  • Work closely with the in-house production coordinators following up on print delivery etc.
  • Where necessary create relationship with all printers used by the production team.
  • Produce flighting performance reports every cycle.
