Minimum Requirements
  • Marketing Degree/Diploma or equivalent BCom/IMM
  • Must have at least 3 years New Business Sales experience 
  • Must have at least 1 years Management experience
  • Must have a favourable understanding of the advertising and the FMCG industry
  • Computer Literate – Advanced PowerPoint & Excel

Key Tasks and  Responsibilities
  • Assist Sales Manager in defining annual business plan for the sales team based on the defined Country strategy
  • Translate the annual sales plan into quarterly and monthly, weekly operational plans and develop sales targets / goals for each product range and to communicate and drive the New Business executives
  • Driving new business to achieve individual targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth
  • Preparing regular daily / weekly and monthly activity reports and suggesting appropriate improvements to the New Business Executives
  • Providing leadership, motivation and control so that the New Business Execs work as a result-orientated and well-motivated team 
  • Monitoring contracts taken by the New Business Team, in case of non-achievement of sales target, taking appropriate measures
  • Accurately report on sales activity and forecasts, through both CRM and excel
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market including internal/external marketing/network opportunities
  • Actively track sales movements of competitor’s products and marketing activities through NB team and market intelligence 

  • Must be a passionate sales individual
  • An excellent communicator with very strong interpersonal skills
  • A decision- maker who is able to work under extreme pressure
  • Must be hands on and able to close deals 
  • Must be computer literate. (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
  • Must be prepared to travel when the need arises
