Executive Board
The Executive Board manages the Company’s day-to-day operations. Martin Sabbagh serves as the Chairman of the Executive Board.
Martin Sabbagh is the CEO of JCDecaux Middle East & Africa, overseeing operations in 25 markets. Since 2015, he has successfully grown the business in the region, leveraging his commercial, strategic, and operational expertise. Having joined JCDecaux in 2007 as a Merger and acquisition Analyst, he advanced to Head of Investor Relations, where he collaborated with senior financial officers. Martin's industry knowledge and leadership aim to enhance JCDecaux's market standing and reputation for continued growth and success in the Middle East and Africa.
Lunga Majija is the Managing Director of JCDecaux South Africa. With a background in civil/structural engineering and project management, he holds an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town. He joined JCDecaux Africa in 2017 and advanced to Director of Operations for the Middle East and Africa. In his current role, he focuses on implementing the South African growth strategy, asset digitisation, data-driven approaches, and service excellence to achieve corporate sales and commercial goals.
Shavalen, an experienced financial leader, joined JCDecaux in 2018 as Financial Director for Southern & Eastern Africa, improving margins and cost structures. He is the Regional Managing Director for the same region, responsible for achieving growth projections, developing sales strategies, and meeting corporate sales targets across diverse product portfolios.
Rishaan Ramkissoon, Director of Legal Affairs for the Middle East and Africa at JCDecaux, manages a legal portfolio across 22 countries. With over 13 years of cross-border experience, he previously worked as Legal Counsel in consumer electronics and as Legal Manager in insurance. An admitted Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, Rishaan also holds multiple legal qualifications and a national diploma in marketing and management, and serves as Executive Director of JCDecaux South Africa.
Kholekile Twala is the Human Resource Director at JCDecaux – Sub Saharan Africa, a seasoned HR professional with a strategic human resource management background. She began her career as an HR Consultant at Bytes Managed Services in 2006 after completing her HR Management studies at UNISA. Twala held HR leadership roles at MTN and Econet Media's Kwese TV, where she drove HR strategy across Africa.
Mashau Nefale is the Operations Director for JCDecaux in South Africa and Southern Africa. In this role, he ensures high-quality operational work and industry-leading health and safety standards, introduces innovative approaches, and prioritises customer interests to strengthen the company's market position. He holds a BSc in civil engineering from the University of Cape Town and an MSc in project management from the University of Pretoria. He has contributed to complex projects across the region, the core of which are the business's digitisation projects.
Archie Masebe, Sales Director for JCDecaux South Africa, focuses on enhancing customer relations and stakeholder engagement to meet commercial needs. With over 20 years in advertising, he achieved growth at McCann Group as Managing Director, managing major campaigns for global brands. Archie's career began in marketing at Standard Bank Corporate, Young & Rubicam, and Toyota, consistently delivering sustainable results through collaboration and performance-focused strategies.
Lélanie Butler is an advertising and media specialist with over 20 years of experience, particularly in Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising. She has held various leadership roles and has achieved numerous accolades in the OOH industry. Currently, Lélanie is the Director of Projects and Innovation at JCDecaux, overseeing custom builds, innovation, and special projects within the company's product portfolio.
Kudzai Kanyangarara serves as the Head of Sales for Africa, responsible for commercial growth and development across 18 markets. He oversees agency relations and direct sales, leveraging over 20 years of experience in client relationship management and business growth strategies. Kudzai has successfully led brand communication initiatives across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, contributing to the success of leading global and local brands.
Terrick Stock, with extensive media industry experience since 2007, began as a sales executive working on international publications. He joined JCDecaux in 2013 and has been pivotal in the company's success across various sales leadership roles. Currently, as Head of Sales for Direct Business, Terrick oversees and manages all direct sales operations for the company.
