As South Africa moved into Level 3 Lockdown, JCDecaux Africa wanted to understand the resulting impact on Mobility and Traffic. JCDecaux utilised a host of data sources to analyse these traffic patterns. Please see  the report highlighting the positive estimated change in national travel behaviour.

JCDecaux Africa has produced a report on national traffic and mobility figures along three categories; being Roadside billboards, Mall and Gautrain. The aim was to understand the changes and variations in travel and mobility behaviour resulting from the transition from Level 4 into Level 3 of Lockdown in South Africa.

Traffic and mobility is complex to understand, thus to ensure that we deliver valuable and accurate insights to our clients, we used host of data sources, such as: Lightstone, ROAD, Google Mobility, Internal GIS Insights and mobile user data among others.  This report was imperative for us as the Global Leader in OOH, to ensure we can inform and empower our valued clients to make strategic and informed decisions around their media campaigns.
